Hey, ive got this game Never Winter Nights.kinda like dungeons and dragons, but about 10 times bigger.
the problem is that when i play it its proforming as though my computer carnt handle it. its extremly gerky and slow and horrid. the thing is that my compy WAAYYY exceeds the recomended specifications. is it possible my compy is too good for it? or is their a button i need to push to make it not so jerky and slow?
maby my grafics card is not compatible or something. i just dunno.

Thor Try updating your graphics drivers. Also play around with the In-game video settings. Edit: Get the xp packs. Make the game way better.

There is also downloadable content on the Neverwinter Nights website, although you do neeed to pay for this content, which sux
as for the jerkyness, i suggest doing what Grisha already told you.

I received this game for Christmas from one of my sons. It is quite good. I can only run it on one computer out of 5 though. My PC is ok, but my wife's will only run it rather jerkily and my daughter's pc's won't run it at all, say's there is a conflict with direct x, which is the same error I get when I try to run two instances of WoW on the one PC. Direct X can only register one at a time. NWN2 seems to need a double bite of Direct X which is wierd.
On my PC I have a 250mg vid card, only a 125mg on my wife's and 64mg on my daughter's. This is the only reason I can think of why it don't work. It needs a 250mg vid card or higher I suppose.
As to the game itself, well... still undecided.

I have a 64 meg on one computer and it runs fine. I think you just might need to update your graphics driver and as Thor direct-X.
