High Noon Smugglers Run/size]
When: September 23rd, 2006, 12pm (High Noon)
What: A convoy of Artifacts from Luxury Liner Hawaii, Sigma 19, headed straight to agents of the Order on planet Manhattan
Goal: Get the Role Playing moving again on the server.
Role Playing Details: The Order has discovered that there are Artifacts which hold the key to a Nomad neutralizing field. These artifacts were left behind by the Nomad's creators as a fail safe system against their creations. Nomad agents have smuggled a massive load of them from Omicron Gamma to the Hawaii, but had to sell them there to escape detection. Scattered throughout the tons upon tons of artifacts, are the ones that are the key to a perfect Nomad defense.
Years after the Nomad War, restrictions on artifacts still exist, and elements of the Order in the four governments have been unable to get the transportation of artifacts legalized--the argument being it would funnel too much money to the criminal Corsairs. Arguments that this could allow the Corsairs to take on a more positive role and develope more positivly have been ignored, and there is suspicion that the Nomads still hold some influence in the governments.
Thus, the Order has contracted Base and System Services to organize the trade of Artifacts, and get them to their agents on Manhattan, New Tokyo, New Berlin, and New London.
Rules: I'm leaving it loose. Anyone who wants to fly escort can. Anyone who wants to run Artifacts can. Anyone who wishes to role play the opposition can. If you would rather run from Cadiz, be my guest. I picked Hawaii so that newer traders can face easier AI resistance, and don't have to deal with mines or rad fields.
