Welcome, Phoenix. Certainly we've always gotten along well with OSG, and I see no reason that the trend won't continue. We're still have plans for a lot of boards to be added, so be sure to check back often!

Thought it was about time I dropped by to say hi and check out your forum. Looks pretty good, but there's no[glow=red,2,300] "poll"[/glow] button, no [glow=red,2,300]"spam"[/glow] thread and no [glow=red,2,300]"quote pyramid"[/glow] ;D Guess you gotta be OSG to go in for all that
[shadow=red,left,300]Lots of cool buttons though[/shadow], Anyway, guess I'll be seeing you all in the battle for Cortez.

There's a "new poll" button. And if we wanted to spam, we'd simply come over and use YOUR spam thread. Welcome to the forums! TBK

Hey Hans! Great fight. We all had a great time in Cortez. BTW, are you taking fighting lessons from Chuck Wepner? You just refused to fall! I was like, "How many Bots and Bats does this guy have?!?! EXPLODE ALREADY DANG IT!!!" And then I'd lose a wing, and keep shooting (lost a wing in both rounds 1 and 2--its only a flesh wound!) and then eventually I'd go find where the wing went with the rest of the ship. ;D Great fun. (For those who don't know, Chuck Wepner was the real lfie inspiration for the Rocky Movies--he was a boxer who actually fought Mohamed Ali, in a similar fight to the first Rocky. Known as "The Bayone Bleeder" he could take tremendous punishment and not go down. He's suing as of late because he never got any money for the films, like he was promised.) TBK

God, that guy must have been fuckin nutz. Nah, I was just *darn tootin' lucky that missiles were tracking, I was expecting to just soften a few of you guys up for Tommy and Phill. With the sabre being a bit tougher than the Eagle I can afford to be a little more conservative with the shield batteries, I didn't actually run out in either round. Towards the start of the battle i just focus on wearing your batts and botts down, hence the Adv. Deb turret and 2x Tiz, and of course staying alive. I very rarely stay on one target long, it helps to confuse people and keep you off my tail. Plus, try hitting an Eagle in a Sabre when he's trying to hit you, not easy. So then I just pop a pair of missiles into whoever presents me a nice clean target. If you hear "incoming missiles" it isn't going to hit, you'd already be dead.. Guns take a long time to kill a sabre, and one CB wont do it either, so I don't regen until it's really desperate.. TBK, I've been speaking to a few of my guys, and Grisha, about running a few mock-battles. We all have a blast at these battles, and as you know there's no training like the real thing. If between bass, DracO, FU and OSG we could assemble 10-12 peeps for a fight sometime, wouldn't matter who was with who really, mix up the sides a bit in each round or fight clan v clan, whatever suits depending on who shows, it'd be great practice for all of us. As for a time, we have a battle on the 14th.. actually, so do you I beleive Grish said the 21st was taken, so perhaps sunday the 15th? If you guys are interested, we'll try and sort somethin. It'd be good to get together in less hostile circumstances for a change

Ill be in it neway dood, see wat the rest of the guys say but

G'Day Hans,
Mock Battling would be a good exercise as we dont have the 'burden' of the special conditions req'd for a Normal System Challenges and flying Alongside Pilots who we'd normally be Attacking is only beneficial to ALL Clans and Pilots skills.
We in [bass] had a Training Time set around Sunday Morning, 1000 - 1400Hrs (Server Time) , but since the New Challenge Rules came into effect this Time has been allocated to Battles.
I propose we call the practice Battles "Jousts", cos that sort of fits with TBKs "The Black Knight" Character and My Avatar based on Bushranger "Ned Kelly", spent more time as a DiY Armourer and Plotting against the Colonial Government of those times rather than "Practising" to shoot Troopers.
I know i need to improve my accuracy and get rid of some bad habits born out of doing too many Missions and not Duelling enough..
Fleggy....

[bass]-ramBler. The time and date for Hamburg is Confirmed at 12PM Saturday, no other DracO/bass fights are currently scheduled. Lay of the Cardi! @fleggy. I have no problems with the Title of the event being "Joust", however a joust usually reflects a 1v1 event. "Tournament" had crossed my mind, but that is a series of events. I'm sure there is a title appropriate for such an event, I'll leave it up to you to decide on the parlance. I've been advised by Traitor Blakmane "sundays have crapulous lag." I'm not so certain of this, the Cortez battle ran smoothly. I would like to propose that a Joust be held on Sunday the 15th, 1200 server time in bass sytem Texas, to celebrate the Victory of bass and DracO over the BoB oppressers and return of the Texas system to her rightful owners. Umm, can someone let Grish know?

[bass]-ramBler.Well, I'd checked the last 2 pages of confirmed system battles, and don't recall seeing California confirmed. BoB don't fight on sundays, usually atleast, as several key pilots have standing obligations. I guess it's confirmed, only thning remaining is the Title; and the ongoing debate on OSG whether midday is 12am or 12pm.. Should be fun guys.
