[bass]Ikami [bass]Rambler These two pilots today performed exceptionally, against the odds. While persuing one <[Atreides]>Usul I was set upon by 7 A-BoBs. With the present difficulties with the OSG aiming controls and continuing problems in the area of missile quality I was unable to vanqish these fleas, and seeing such a gathering force Ikami and Rambler made haste to engage. Despite the numbers being against us, and the undeniable superiour shield and missile technology of our mutual enemies, a long and violent battle ended with the Omicron sector again free of this hostile menace. Three cheers!

Big battle today in Omicron Gamma.
I was found alone with one Atredies and engaged battle, sortly after one more Atredies came to back his friend up. I then asked for TurkeyMulettes backup. He came in as fast as he coud. We we able to defeat them quite well but then one more Atredies apeard and we wer going down like flys. We tought it was the end of us and Darak came to the rescue. It was now a fair fight. then out of the blue 3 BoD apeard and got into the middle of the war it was now a 3 way full scale WAR. Missiles fling everywhere, mines counter measures fireing guns wizing buy.........
Man It was grate. Just like old times ;D
see you all in space Sly

An honor to fly and fight along side you Hans. Although truth be told, by the time I arrived, there was only one BoB left and a couple of BoD, later joined by Balthazar. Even so it was heaps of fun!

You can subscribe to the GOI RSS Feed to get notified of battles. I try to make sure it's updated atleast twice a week. Works as a "News Ticker" in Firefox, or straight to your email with Thunderbird, though you can use any rss reader for it, they're probably the easiest. www.smugglersguild.net/feeds/goi_events.xml

Might be best to refer people to the GOI thread, incase they need to know how to use it. Umm, M$ like everything else have come up with their own "standard" (standard??) for rss feeds, this like all my code is w3c not m$ standard. It's also fed straight to the GOI & OSG webpages, you can embed it in any php page fairly easily, do a search for "rss to php"
I usually update it twice a week, depending if there's new stuff to put in, but always on a friday.
Sorry for going off-topic guys, perhaps an Exo would like to move this detour?
